Pretty sure the this was Hemi Dennys car. It was for sale at the Good Guys show here in Spokane Washington a few years ago......

Not a bad deal for what it is. He don't build no junk.

looks like a great deal .hope it sells on Saturday in prime time if it goes through on Thursday afternoon it might only bring half if that , man what a risk to take eh

If I'm reading that right, isn't that the price that it sold for, in Palm Beach in 2004?

From that link, I don't think it's up for auction. It's just a past sale?

nice...but those photos are 6 to 7 years old...looks a little different last i saw it with a hood scoop (and that WAS a Feather Duster hood) and some big Hemi billboads on the 1/4 panel.

Luv to give it an update K-frame, 5speed and some period correct buckets.....I better get my bidder badge ready!

your right...the high bidder was the current owner...thats right, with the "no reserve" his shill was the winner and he got to pay the buy fee and sell fee. I think that weekend adventure cost him over $10K....what a deal!!

Same car.......at the begining (circa 1996?)

Denny test fit the powertrain and then installed it. Car was driven to a
dealer show in Toledo and then torn down for the prettying up.

Note the custom-built headers he made that fit with torsion bars.

I have LOTS of pics!

Correct me if I'm wrong Denny.......

Denny originally installed a blueprinted '66 426 which was then sold to a fellow
(in Colorado?) who wanted it to make a numbers-matching Coronet convertible.

Next, Denny bought a Barton 472" shortblock with JE pistons and H-beam rods.
He assembled it with massaged MP aluminum heads, a Comp hydraulic cam
and Landy stainless steel roller rockers. Original correct AFB carbs were sent to
Hemi carb specialist R.D. Katter in Virginia.

When first completed the Duster had 14x5.5 ralley wheels with 205/70-14 and
225/70-14 RWL Eagle ST's. Later on Denny had specially made 15x5 and 15x7
ralleyes made for 205/70-15 and 275/60-15 BFG drag radials with Moser axles.

The large bumperettes were removed and the front bumper had an inch cut out
of each end while lightened brackets snuggled it up closer to the body.

This last photo depicts the car the way it looked when Denny sold it, actually
in the next owner's driveway.

whoever owns the car now....that is a dream ride with absolutely top notch build quality shout out to hemidenny for all the hard work he put into that car just stunning!!!

Even Garlets has a bulge in his pants....

Ok Smart A$$....Now I'm going to have to make you cry.

before the green '73 was sold, Denny helped HemiMark engineer his car.

The green 472 and orange 528 cars are gone but not forgotten.

Think before you sell (both of you).

Space formerly occupied by Mark's 528 Hemi Duster........Sooo Sad.

Last pictures we ever saw of the car.....Somewhere in California.

(Now I am gonna cry!).

After going to great lengths to develop an engine swap so as to
retain a flat hood......well you guessed it.

Why can't this crap just stay with the Camaros and 5.0 Mustangs?

At least they stopped short of the T-tops, giant rear wings, side pipes
and gold emblems.

Oh well.....I'm sure some will like it. It's still a helluva car!

This is what it looked like when I saw it for sale up here in Spokane. When I asked the guy that said he owned it about the Hemi he knew nothing about it. And I don't think it had the decal on the side of the scoop. I have some pictures of it somewhere, will look when I get a chance......

I wish I had the cylinder heads that are on that motor. That thing's really just a stout camshaft
away from well over 600 hp.

Would love to see any pictures if you can find them.

I could bring that baby back to it's ol self...and better...in no time
