key won't go in sometimes

After driving my Dart for 2 years with no key issues, now sometimes my key won't go into the ignition at all. Eventually I can get it in after a lot of jiggling (insert sex joke here). It's not the key because I have two keys and it happens to both of them. Also, I never have any trouble opening the door locks which use the same keys. Any ideas?

The tumblers /springs in the ignition switch is /going bad
I got stranded few yrs back

PA340 is probably right. But short term you might put a ( little ) oil or white lithium grease on the toothed edge of your key before inserting it. Might help for a while.
