Legend Gear and Transmission's 5 speed Tranny

Just wanted to pass info about another 5 speed OD tranny along. Legend Gear has a new 5 speed with multiple mounting holes for Mopar, furd, chivvy rated at 700ft;lbs. They also claim no cutting involved with factory shifter position. Hopefully this new tranny will help prices to be more competitive. Keislerauto.com/ss700.html. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing that they're in partnership.

They still sell the original TKO "Perfect Fit", their own designed Keisler RallyeSport 5 speed and now this new SS700.... although this one handles alot more torque. Interesting.......

My problem with them is that "they" rebuild the transmissions they sell. I was considering getting a Tremec from Liberty but I really want the Passon 5 speed. I'm on the list to get one. Hopefully I will soon.

I wouldn't buy anything from Keisler.Way overpriced.

I am not crazy about the input shaft bearing being a tapered roller. I think that would put a lot of load on the pilot bearing or bushing.
