I am really getting into what I call "box Valiants" because the shorty ones look more boxy than the early A or after 74 when they extended the wheel base.

How many are on here?

Hey young'in, how the heck ya been?
fantastic, just hanging around still and buying more cars as usual.
I have turned my attention to Valiants. I prefer the 4 door variety although when I started getting into cars, 4 doors were parts cars. Now, I think anything old and non electric is cool and should be saved. :realcrazy::p:p

My 68 4 door with factory bucket seats and a 273. Loved it !

Here’s a 67 I picked up several years ago for $250. It’s pretty much all there minus the slant 6 and 904. All in all it’s pretty dang solid too! It’s I the line of “future projects”. I’ve got big plans for this thing that some people may not like, but if I can actually pull it off, it’ll be (imo) a pretty awesome 1 off version of something Plymouth SHOULD have done.

I remember when you got that and I always liked it. Now I have one too and when I bought mine I thought of you. Hope you're doing well

This is my 72. Originally a 318, 3 on the tree, radio delete. I don't know it’s history but it has an industrial feel, forestry maybe. When I got it it had no engine or transmission for some reason but only 50,000 miles. I installed a carbureted 318 Magnum with a 3-speed on the floor, and it’s my daily driver in the summer.

ewwww. Woman farts are dangerous.

If I could find a reasonable 67-69, I'd put a big block in it. Probably never happen, but a guy can dream.
They are reasonable which is why I am buying them up. I paid 7 hundred for the 67 4 door in OCT of 2023 in Colorado Springs, Co and it runs with a 225/ 3 on the tree. Right now Valiants are the cheapest and most available mopars out there.

This past summer I also acquired a 67 2 door with an 8.75 and magnum 360, granted the 2 doors get more money because that one cost me 2k which is still chump change compared to what everything else is getting like any duster. These days a 2k duster is a shell and is probably messed up in some way.

For me, I prefer the 4 doors so that makes this that much more fun because they are all beautiful up to 73.

Good luck on your hunt

Here's my 2 door post '69 Valiant 100.
318 auto, bbp discs and a 2:94 geared open 8 1/4'' rear.

I need another car like a hole in the head, but I've come perilously close to picking up this era of Valiant more than once. Lucky for me and my parking situation, the stars have yet to align.

But just in case you need a little inspiration for this thread here's my buddy's car and yes, those are dual quads on a slant. IIRC it's a 12 second car and street driven.
