Lost a long time member on Sunday. 7172Duster passed away at age 60 . Aug. 23 2016

Just came across this and very saddened to hear this. We had some really nice PM chats over the years. After getting back on here after a long hiatus, there are dozens of people I look forward to seeing here and chatting with and wonder if many are still around or not. Dane was one of them. RIP brother. Is Nick still running the car? Anyone know? Thnx Jeff for posting this info back in Aug.

Same here, Rest In Peace Dane. Our talks when the chat room worked will be remembered.

Nick had decided to try his hand at class racing with his Duster. But he ended up selling the car. Nick has married and his family are doing tractor pulls. His family includes a darling little sweet heart crew chief named Ella. He feels it is more family orientated. Apparently Dane was a big fan and participant of sled pulling with his pick up back in the day. Nick's tractor is called Burning Cash and he posts on face book. He is a super young man. Dane and his wife did an awesome job raising him.
