Does anyone have suggestions for a paint that will resemble the factory raw steel dipped in cosmoline color on LCA? Does not need to be restoration correct just an adequate representation.

Not expecting you to run out and buy something else, but Eastwoods Frame paint works great for those.
It's tough enough where you can hit it will a ball peen hammer and not chip or go through it.
