It's been awhile since I've posted. Thought I would share a few progress pics of the new power plant, trans and jewelry

nice....what trans is that? Tremec? whatever it is , that isn't going to fit in a stock A-body floor tunnel without some work

what kranmisshun is that? A T56?
It's a TKO 600 SS. Tunnel work was minimal, I actually thought it was easier than converting an auto to a stick.
408
Scat Kit
Lunati Voodoo Cam
RPM airgap knock off(from my old motor)
Tti step headers
Quickfuel carb
Firecore distributor
Hydraulic clutch
QuickTime bell
Etc

That oughtta be really nice.

So what kind of tunnel work was required for that transmission? Also, how are you liking that Firecore distributor? Is it easy to adjust the mechanical advance on it?

Tunnel work was as simple as putting the template down per the instructions, cutting it out with a die grinder and welding the new hump in place.

I didn't need to adjust the mechanical advance at all for my engine. I have read the instructions for it, and it seems pretty straight forward.
