Hello I have a 67 signet with manual 3spd on column.
I plan to swap the /6 with a small block and Id like to keep the manual 3spd but relocating shifter to floor, and for gas Id like to add a overdrive, Has anyone done this? Id like to know the parts (such as correct bell housing etc) and where to get them, what cars should I look for at boneyard..?
I have an 8 1/4 rear I will be dropping in too.
Also want to ask best cam for a little lope and torque , keeping gas milage acceptable.
Along with this theme Id like to see what people think about keeping 2 barrel for street and four barrel set up for fun with same cam dual purpose cruiser, Im after low end torque..as much as can be had within these parameters....what do you think? ain10:
