Mopar Nationals Germany 2015 + Drag Racing PICS & VIDEO!

This year we (my dad and his '71 Duster 340, a friend in his '66 Barracuda and me in a '72 Demon 340) visited the Mopar Nationals Germany 2015 in Herten. The Location is pretty awesome and on saturday the mopars hit the streets to an airport and have some fun there: Drag Racing:glasses7:. Over 350 Mopars were there: Daily beaters, rare Muscle Cars and Race Cars. My personal Highlights: a numbers matching 1970 Plymouth Superbird 440 6Pack with 4speed pistol grip and buckets, a numbers matching AAR Cuda and two numbers matching plumcrazy B-Bodies with a Hemi and four speed pistol grip! Also the Valiant 100 with the 440 engine was pretty awesome and the Bahama yellow duster was fast as hell! I had to drive against some 12sec. cars, but I managed to defeat a '70 'Cuda 440 with a five speed in the 72 Demon 340(stock, matching numbers).:glasses7:

Germany is - now - a Mopar B and C-Body country, only a few A-Bodies live there...

Most of these B- and C-Bodies were imported in the last decade.

The Superbird was from Finland.

The pictures are from different Photographers - some were at least semi-profesional...

Not all attending cars (about 350) raced, but about the half of them...

Thank you guys! Indeed it was an awesome meeting. The most interesting fact was the A- to B-Body/C-Body ratio. At the Meeting where a lot of B- and C-Bodies and only a few A-Bodies. On the strip the ratio changed. Most of the A-Bodies hit the strip and raced. And let me tell you, there were some real mean A-Bodies.:glasses7:

This would have been awesome for me to attend I flew in to Frankfurt am Main and was in Gelnhausen visiting my cousin over the last weekend of July on my way to Dubai... The Roadrunner is a mean looking thing, although it didn't perform very well on the strip. The Bahama Yellow Duster smoked it(The duel is in the video). A-Body rules!
