Just made my hotel reservations. Hoping things calm down enough for a good turnout being its a bit off. Id be interested to see who's going to the Garlits show vs the horse park show.

Unfortunate, but I'd rather drive 14 hours to a great show in Carlisle. Then 1 hour to two okay (maybe) shows. Wish we could get our **** together on this.

I have a reservation at the Sleep Inn right there at Garlits for the 6-8th that I’m most likely going to cancel if anyone is interested.

Thinking of going to this show in 2021, is it worth coming from Maine, or is it not worth it? Any opinions??

I didn't think he was doin that anymore after somebody crunched his dog.

No that was many years ago that his dog was run over. He slowly has sold off a lot of the land. Then FMA and the girl that was in charge had a falling out. And that is when it was moved to Ocala Horse park a couple years ago. But this year Garlits and the lady got together and want the meet back at the museum property. But the other group is having their meet at the horse park again this year. They are a week apart. Don’t know how well this is going to work out.

It is a decent show. Not sure I would make a trip from Maine for it.
Sad to say, I have to agree with Roy. See my post #6.

They combined his show with the Florida Mopar Association show for a few years. Had it down the road at a big horse park . Seemed like it could really be something. Now they've split again for some reason. On back-to-back weekends.

Hope nobody runs over his new dog.

I did cancel my room for the 4 days. But I still plan on going to the Ocala horse park meet on Saturday November 14.

I wish Garlits would let it go. He makes it a problem for us, when he is the one with the parking issues.

Are you part of the Ocala horse park show?
No. I have just been hearing about this same nonsense for years. Last time I went to Garlits several years ago, when they were starting with the squabbles, Garlits was a dud. For me personally, I'm going to the horse park. Bear in mind, Garlits owns his property. He could have a show any time of the year. I think he does this to screw with the horse park.

Well he use to own a lot more land and the show had more room. The Sleep Inn property and all the land where the Cracker Barrel is use to be his.

I have wrote Ken McNally twice about me using a Polaris Ranger as a handicap vehicle. He hasn’t replied yet.

All I know is that Horse Park property is big enough to have something that rivals Carlisle. And who wouldn't want to come to Florida in November? Seems like a no brainer. I think Carlisle Events is missing out on a great opportunity. They do a mixed show in Lakeland in February.

There IS a Carlisle event in FL.

Actually twice a year.

It's an all makes show/swap meet at the regional airport in Lakeland.

It was formerly the Zepherhills fall fest show.

I am local to both November shows. I will probably attend both. Don't know if I will bring my 66 Valiant, or just hit the swap meet. If anyone wants to hook up, PM me your cell number.

Well, like I said there's the show in February and the only other thing they do is an auction, I think.
