Motor Mount suggestions 69 340 Swinger

I need to buy motor mounts. I'm leery of the $3 Rock Auto mounts but don't want to spend $200 for Schumaker mounts. What's everyone using? It is a basically stock 340 and A/T

Do you need just the rubber part or the metal brackets that bolt to the engine block???

Just the rubber with the stud on each side .

You should be able to order them from any parts store. The real thick ones are for trucks, not cars, make sure to get the proper ones...

If summit sells them for $4, then the ones at rock should be similar... I was just price comparing and showing you the difference between the "fat" one and the regular one...

If you don't want the fancy mounts maybe you should get a torque strap.

Yeah; cheap mounts and tie her down.lasts forever, unless oiled. You gotta tie her down one way or another.
