72 dart -318 auto- keep breaking drivers side insert type - not going to spool type - whats the easiest and cheapest way around this issue . I don't want to make a project out of this as car. will be for sale thanks

The cheapest way to fix this (before you sell it) is to change your driving habits. Otherwise, limit its movement and chain it down. Those are the two cheapest methods. GL.

Really? Are you running NOS? Trany drops? 318 Auto breaking motor mounts? I can see an old one breaking down and seperating.

Another way.

Some scrap metal and a welder. A word of warning: rubber stinks to high heaven when you weld it.

Im still curious. Is this 318 a maxed out motor?
I broke 1 motor mount on my 70 Charger 440-6 solid roller motor in the 37 years I owned it and I raced that car often.. Never broke one on my 73 W2 roller cam 4 speed darr.
