iv got it about ready to put on a run stand tomorrow...only thing is what oil to brake it in on...what brand name additave do i buy tomorrow...i found a number of additaves at kragens..o.reiley...rislone and others..what brand s has this forum had success with..tx j

i used the comp cams additive ,it works

Depending on what size and type of flat tappet I use 15/40 fleet (deisel) oil, that plus the Comp additive or, one of the more pricey race oils (not synthetic) like the Valvoline vv851.
