ok my last race this is what i came up with.
60 ft - 1.969
1/8 - 8.30 @ 86 mph
1/4 - 12.80 @ 107.84

Does this all match up? i had a few people say it should be doing way better just because they know my motor but they also said the times and everything didnt match up too well.

69 440 dart.
mild build 440 509 lift cam 10-1 compression.
727 trans manual valve body 3000 stall
8 3/4 3.91 suregrip
springs similar to super stock springs.
koni shocks rear, comp 3 way front.
body is stock minus fiberglass hood.

famoso raceway bakersfield cali.
Im racing again in sept on pinks all out there and i tore the car down to add a few things... interior, paint, alum heads and new intake, brakes and suspension parts.... but i was wondering from those times what seems off i can improve to get my times down besides the parts im installing.

Numbers look almost identical to my 408 stroked Duster using 275-50-17 street radials into a dana 3.73 rear. When I bolt on the slicks at the track, they are good for 1/2 second in the 1/4, and about 2/10ths on the 60 foot.

My best time is 1.673, [email protected], [email protected].

My smallblock Dart ran 12.9 at 104mph with a 1.78 60'. You are running a couple mph faster than you should at a 12.8. Are you having wheelspin? That could account for your 1.9 60's too.

Your doing good. You just need a little tunig to get it
to go faster.
I ran the best with the Duster. a 12.93@ 105.
That was with a 340-.030 over, MP cam 484 lift, 727 with a 3000
stall convertor and 4.30 gears. not mush tuning.
Keep up the good work. you'll do better.

.................ur loosing it in the 60 ft.....good tires definately help.....107 mph = 12.15...........kim...............

Hate to burst your bubble, but your 60 foot time leaves much to be desired. Your mile per hour isn't bad. You need to get the car to leave better.
My 66 Cuda with a 170 slant six, and 3250 race weight will 60 foot at 1.78, and 1/8 mile at about the 8.30@ 82 mph 1/4, mile is around 13.3 @98 mph.

well yah the thing is i have no wheelspin at all.
The car hooks up great, it just dosnt launch great.
it kinda picks up, leans to the side a little and goes haha.
Im trying to do what i can and lighten up the front a little...at some power and then try the subframed connectors and pinion snubber.

But all and all the 60 ft times a.k.a. my launch is where im losing it..
