I'm trying to strike a balance between looks and functionality on my 70 duster.

One area I'm working on is lighting. I'm night blind. The sealed beam silver stars are the best bulbs I've tried in the car, but I want better.

55 watt hid is better. Bi-xenon projector is better. So I combined with jeep jk headlights to do a retrofit. But they look odd to me.

What says the hive? Is there another cut free option I am missing?

Here's what I made. Great light output, but....

Keep or scrap? Any ideas?

Good wiring, headlight relay kits and the right bulbs up front.

Whatever you do stick with something that is approved, that is meets DOT

The fact is, at 67, my night driving days are over. I could safely drive "with enough light" on little used backroads highways, but complicated situations, lots of interfering lights, both from approaching vehicles and off from the side, I would not do well. I would never go "on a road trip" on unfamiliar ground anymore, at night.

Only time I drive, anymore, at night, is on familiar roads.

Perhaps it's time for you to think on those lines.
