I have a 1971 Dart with a big block stroker in it. Had it at the shop for a top end noise and when it was hoisted on the lift we saw that the pitman arm and idler arm are hitting the headers in a bad way. the lower control arm is also rubbing a bit on my milodon oil pan. The headers are TTI. Are there pitman and idler arms that are longer/lower to avoid rubbing anything or is my motor sitting too low? Any help appreciated as car is in the shop. Thanks so much.

Best,
James

Swap the steering gear, idler, pitman, and center links with 73-up parts...

Those are the only parts that will give you the added clearance that you need, and yes A-body parts. You might be able to find a pitman arm for the early gear and late link, but don't count on it.
