Need help with trunk weatherstripping.

Does anyone know which way this goes? I searched the forum but did not find any weatherstripping that looked like this. I ordered the kit from Metro Supersoft 73-76 A Body, the door seals and roof rails work fine. The car is a 73 Scamp.

Yeah I posted pics because I have never seen trunk weatherstripping like this, I am use to the older style.

Yeah that is the problem I'm having. There are two different styles for 73 a body. Is anyone at least willing to give an opinion on how it fits?

I am goin to take a chance and say...the squisshy part is suppose to hit the trunk....Does it even look like it fits...or not..

Big side up?? I'd help if I could, but I have never seen stripping like that.

Just spoke with a guy at Metro, I don't think he is positive how it fits. He said flat side down with the little lip out. I hope he is right!

Not positive but I would attach flat side to the trunk rail. Round part contacts trunk lid.

See posting from Mopar Head above, is correct diagram. Never seen your style in photo on a trunk of a Dart, but I don't know everything! Good Luck!
