My 68 Dart 340 SB was apparently converted to 4spd at some point, and not so well done! There was no bracket used on the frame rail end of the Zbar...just poked a hole throught the sheet metal :realcrazy:. Predictable result:

So, now I'm looking for the correct frame rail bracket for this end of the Zbar. Or, should I just used some heavy plate and fab one myself? Where can I find the correct bracket?
I assume that the location and alignment of the hole is pretty critical to clutch pedal operation. What is the best way to set it in the correct place? Should I cut away that old sheet metal and weld directly to the frame rail?

The hole location should be correct. I believe it is there from factory just no bracket if auto trans. car.
Yep. I changed my 72 to a 4-spd and the hole was drill at the factory and had a plug in it. Just had to weld the bracket on it.

I’ve got one. It’s used but still in useable condition. PM me your address and I’ll drop it in the mail for you.
