New engine has AC old engine did not

So I plan on putting a 2005 5.7 hemi into my 71' Scamp and the new engine has ac but the old one does not how hard would it be to make the ac on the new engine work with the car?

If all you have is the compressor from the 5.7, you'll need a lot of additional parts. Condenser, evaporator, receiver dryer, expansion valve, associated plumbing, new heater box, dash controls, wiring, hoses, dash vents... You'd be better off buying a retro-fit AC kit if you really want air conditioning. In Wisconsin, it may be more trouble and expense than it's worth.

I’ve been looking at some universal underdash kits myself, just google it. I found several types under 400.00.
