Wait a minute to post ago you said they drop in without any banging? LOLYeah, I did not do the ceramic coating until I know I don't have to ding them on the install
Trust but verifyWait a minute to post ago you said they drop in without any banging? LOL
Boy their website is one hell of a mess!!! I could not even find the DD9 on there, and the application "clicks" are useless
I apologize for the long wait, but here's the update. I just found out tonight that I may have been a case of mistaken identity. Going through some other people's posts on this forum I finally saw another picture of dd9, and it does not look like the ones I have. I think perhaps they sent me dd8 by the looks of things. I did get them to work, but having never seen a picture of what they were supposed to look like I just assumed that I was stuck working with what I had so I beat the crap out of them with a hammer, ground the steering gear box, and shimmed up the motor. In these three pictures, the shiny one is what I believe dd9 is supposed to look like, the second is what I got, and the third is what I had to do to make it fit.Can we get an update on these headers? Did you get it in the car?

Assuming you could even fit factory manifolds that came with the engine, they still flow better. I have zero headaches driving it, and it responds to a mashed pedal very happily. All the headache was just in putting the engine in and out 15 times with a hammer between each liftHonest question, do you feel these headers will be an improvement over stock manifolds even after beating them with a hammer?
Still saving up for the full tti kit myself.WTF!
Savings out the window. I'll buy Dougs.
Huh? Factory manifolds would have much better fitment.Assuming you could even fit factory manifolds that came with the engine
Glad to hear it runs good!Assuming you could even fit factory manifolds that came with the engine, they still flow better. I tried those, the engine came out of the 2001 van. Couldn't even get it dropped down in the engine bay with them.Huh? Factory manifolds would have much better fitment.
Thanks for the update! Sanderson is confusing with the three different part numbers.I tried those, the engine came out of the 2001 van. Couldn't even get it dropped down in the engine bay with them.
