New M/C... ok for manual pushrod?

I purchased a Dorman M80266 15/16 Power Disc M/C. Wasnt sure if it is machined to accept the manual pushrod retainer . It seems there is a slight lip which may be the "groove" mentioned in other posts. I put a retainer in to test fit..Does it look OK to use with Manual disc pushrod?
