Good idea. I was wanting to do the same thing but they don't make a 70 Dart. Could get a resin body but don't rely want to drop 50 bucks on a model. LOL Be cooll to see how she turns out.

in this post you will see it in primer, you will find my ralley wheels i have already painted from a 71 cuda kit, the top gets masked and painted , the 2 tape strips will represnt the vinyl top seems, and a fresh coat of yellow, some of the interior parts have been painted

it is too yellow but y2 sunfire yellow doesnt exactly come in a can at walmart, it will be close enough to compair

$19 for the kit i used , find a demon kit and change the front end to simulate your car

what you see here is the 2 tone treatment to the interior and adding the side moldings using chrome tape and pinstripe also added the rocker molding

they do make a 68 cuda fastback kit with hood scoop amt makes it, post pix of your kit i would love to see it

yeah i am serius - as you see in the attachment i am keeping the original color scheme- the seats are finished as is the top and paint.

funny thing happened, i painted and test fit the chassis and those cuda ralleys would not fit under the low rear wheel well so i opted for a set of cragars and i really like the look do they make those in a sbp wheel

after 5 days and over 16 hours of time the Dart is completed , the only thing I could turn into a 1969 was the tailight which is only a small detail
