Hi everybody:

I'm sure not ashamed to say that I had to learn a lot about automatics once my 904 came back from the shop and didn't work worth a hoot in 2010. It was slamming into first gear so hard it felt like it was going to break something, but it doesn't matter because I have a 727 now.

Everybody seems to want the slam bang shifts. I don't mind a hard 1-2, or 2-3 when under full power. But from N/P to L/R ;I feel terribly sorry for the tranny when it has been set up like that. And it's not an easy fix. The tranny has to come down and the wavy springs put back into the clutchs.
I also never block the accumulator, favoring to play with it's spring, to get the feel I like.

Imagine someone putting an automatic in Park at 15 mph. That's what this felt like shifting down into first....Like there is not a smooth clutching effect if that is a good way of putting it.
