no reverse lights in new Dart

I was hoping that the bulbs were just burnt but that is not the case. Where do I look now: the wiring in the trunk area looks intact and clean, all other lights work as should; brake, side lights, license plate light. 70 Dart. Thanks

The reverse lights are controlled by the 3-pin switch screwed into the left side of the transmission (assuming yours is automatic). The centre pin is for the neutral safety switch function; the outer two pins should have continuity when the trans is shifted into Reverse. If they do, the problem's in the wiring. If they don't, replace the switch.
