No Spark to plugs

I recently removed my heads off the 68 barracuda 340 auto floor shift for a valve job. I had also pulled out the steering column to repaint. Anyway I’ve completed the engine portion and was trying to start it up last night and have no spark to the plugs. Coil tested ok but I replaced it anyway. Do you think having the steering column harness disconnected would prevent it from getting spark? Only things on the column are blinkers and horn.

Is this an original points ignition or converted to electronic ignition?

did you remember to reconnect the ground lead to the head? and is that connection clean metal to metal?

yes, ground is in place on a clean surface

I’d check to make sure I plugged the distributor back in. Maybe a loose wire to the coil?

Also have you spark out of the coil? one more thing was that a new MP orange ecu? Lots of issues with them failing.
