I just picked up this 67' F100 Ranger. It's a sweetheart of a pick up. This truck belonged to my grand dad's longtime friend and loggin' buddy. They'd ride to catch the crew bus through the 70s and early 80s in it and head into Camp Baker. Bill has owned it since 72'. I've known it my whole life. I stopped in to see Bill one day and we got to talkin'. He sold a few rigs. He's 77 and lost a leg so he struggled to drive it. I told him I'd buy it. We made a deal and I drove her home. Originally a 240 6 cylinder 3 on the tree truck. He put a 390 and 4 on the floor in it the year he bought. It has most of the typical Ford rust but it's pretty solid. Pretty neat to own something that belonged to someone that I've looked up to for dam near my whole life. Knowing all the times him and grand dad had in it. My pops used to ride in it too when Bill was logging on his own down in Oregon way back. I've never met Rusty Rat Rod, only had some short back in forth on here but I thought he'd like it when I thought of posting it....BOOK OVER LOL

Das a cool truck! Big block, four speed, shot bed oughtta be fun!

<~~~~ Had a '72 Ranger XLT black 390 auto short bed. Bought it from my father when it was determined that the '66 Ranchero was a little too radical to be driving to LA or San Diego from the desert for work.

I had a 68 just like that, same color. It was a great truck till 1974 and a 90 mi per hour drunk in a 65 Lincoln hit me at 9 am one sat. I had a gooseneck with tractor on it that probably saved me.
