NOT a Nova...

New cars all look the same! And, they're all silver, black or white.

With cars from "back in the day", you could even identify one that was behind you, in the dark, by the way the lights were laid out.

So when someone says, "nice whatever (and they're wrong)", about an older car, I really don't get it. But, not everyone is acute to things that others are. At least they're being nice and are appreciative of our older cars.

Before I tore my volare apart everyone who seen it thought it was a damn nova.
When I had my diplomat I had personalized plates that said "NOT A COP" when I get the volare back on the road it's plates are gonna be "NOT NOVA" or something like that that can be said in 7 characters or less.

Funny, I had a 77 Aspen R/T in the 80's and I can't remember once someone mistaking it for a Nova? Maybe "car guys" back then knew the difference.
