Novice wiring questions

i have a 67 dart. the car was orinally an AC car. the car is a strip car now. i have deleted the wipers, heater and have gone to aftermarket gauges. I am getting ready to put the wiring back in the car. i was hoping to use the factory harness. my main questions are concerning the engine bay wiring. i have a compete MSD ignition system. can i delete all the factory ignition wiring?

I would NOT use a factory harness and I would NOT use a bulkhead connector

Buy yourself a universal xx circuit (12, etc take your pick) harness and go to work. Install an underhood relay/ fuse/ breaker panel to pull heavy loads like ignition/ charging, pump(s), fan(s), etc.

You can either use the old stripped bulkhead connector to feed wires straight through, or just make a little aluminum cover plate with a nice big grommet in the middle.
