Here is a data sheet of 2 5W30 full syn oils. Is a higher or lower viscosity number a better oil?. Opinions on which is the better 5W30 oil below?.

1st Oil
Viscosity at 40 Degrees C = 61.7
Viscosity at 100 Degrees C = 11
Vicosity Index = 172C
Flash Point = 230

2nd Oil
Viscosity at 40 degrees C = 74.4
Viscosity at 100 degrees C = 11
Viscosity Index = 137
Flash Point = 210C

Viscosity is by definition resistance to flow. More isn't better.
