P190/70r14 to how big?

Looking at giving the dart a bigger footprint and was wondering how wide I can go using the stock steely rims?

well, there is no 190/70/14 , I would assume you mean 195. you don't say how wide your rim is , there are more than one stock size steel wheel. I would assume its a 14" which are either a 5 or 5.5 width. either way , a 75 or 80 series are the narrowest all the way to a 50 series being the widest.
with a 14 x 5 or 5.5 rim , I would suggest a 60 series tire

The 190 suppressed me too but I swear I read that number. Her fronts are 195s...... Rear got converted to non sbp.

I can assure you its not 190. they jump from 185 to 195 .

One of my tire companies has data charts for recommended tire/wheel combo's...the wider tires will fit narrow rims but perform/wear optimum with appropriate sizing.

I admit defeat it's 195. Now where did I see 190.......

if you want a wider foot print better off goin to 15 inch wheels out back and doin a 255-60-15 depending on the car these are goin on.
Cause biggest 14 inch tire is 245-60-14
