Painting, aluminum heads

I am building a 431 from a 383 block and I’m going to put aluminum heads on my motor. My question is about painting the heads, I have read and heard different opinions, so I would like to hear from some people that have done it, or have not.

Clean surface, etch prime, and have at it. None of mine have ever peeled.

May help keep the heat in the alloy heads; in my case, a good thing..

I paint almost every one.

I'm going to paint mine because the original owner put rattle can clear on them and it turned yellow. I've tried many solvents and nothing will remove it.

No problem...and I paint base clear and even when I painted with single stage never a problem.
