Parklamps Go Out When H/L Switch Pulled

I need help on this one.When I pull my headlamp switch out for the H/L to turn on my parklamps go out.When I have the switch set on parklamp they burn.It is just when the switch is pulled all the way.I have checked the switch on another car and it works properly and all lamps work like they are suppose to signals and all.I have checked everything I know of and still no luck !!!!! This is on my 67 Belvedere
Has anyone ran into this before??????

My 67 Dart does the same thing. Normal for that year for Darts. Prob yours also?

I believe this is normal. Both my 64 darts work the same way. Jayson

Here's one that always pisses off the purists. My 67 has a 68 grill and tail lights (GTS clone), except it still has the 67 wiring. So when I have my headlights on, my park lights go out. "On a 68?!?" then they start looking closer, and the **** starts to fly!!!
