Penstar emblem question

I know chrysler put the penstar emblem on the lower right front fender between the door and the wheel. Did Dusters come with the penstar emblem? Some guys have said yes and others said Dusters did not. I am not sure, maybe some did and some did not

I searched and i still can't tell. Almost every repaint, no matter the year seems to have it gone. Unless your trying to do a points type resto i'd just do your personal preference.




<-------70' has them, that i know.


Other thing i remember was they were, what looked like, just slapped on going down the line with no regard to a exact spot other then somewhere on the lower fender.

I have one on my 72 Demon that was an early build in Aug 71. I "think" the breakoff was sometime in 72, but I'm not sure when.....:scratch:

Thats right forgot about late model cars. I was simply speaking of the muscle era cars. I put a Pentastar on my 1974 dart and it was a peel and stick one they used on the dodge stratus or intrepid brand new from dodge correct size as the old ones.

My Dad also used one on his 68 Charger R/T when he was building it 20 years ago when he couldnt find or afford an nos one

do any of them matter? :finga: it's a personal preference unless one goes for factory correct. i am not since this is a 318 car with a magnum crate motor.

I like to look of them as it was or maybe still is something unique. I found one on from a old LeBaron that is in perfect condition, so I think mt 72 is going to have one.

The holes that they fit in are small and most bodyshops will accidently fill them in when they prep the fender. That actually happened to mine. Instead of drilling the holes back, I just cut off the pins and stuck it on with some thin double-sided emblem tape.
