Pentastar location

Restoring a 72 Duster, anyone know the correct placement of the gold pentastar on the passenger lower fender? How far up from bottom of fender, center or off center of fender?

I have a 1970 Plymouth Duster that has a pentastar on the lower right fender. Does anyone know if they stopped putting the pentastar on later models?

Not so, Some 72s got them and some didn't get them. A expert on 72s and a member her Dave Moore, has a survivor that came from the factory without one. While my 72 came from the factory with one, however when I painted my car, I decided to not put it back on. The finish was faded and the repops are cheap plastic.

My 72 was built in Qctober of 71 and I don't see any evidence a Pentastar.
