Smooth side to the head or header?? Instructions don't give a clue. These are the multi-layered aluminum type. Thanks!!

doesn't matter, but i put smooth side to head...

Well, I put the smooth side to the header. I only had to replace the passenger side. I haven't finished putting everything back together in the engine bay and want to know if I should just leave it or take it out and put a new one in the other way??

Found my answer on their website:

Q: “Which way do I install the Seal-4-Good Flange Gaskets?” A: With the exception of the Big Block Ford Part #66035, all flange gaskets are installed with the smooth side out. There is a smooth rounded side and a sharp cut side, this sharp side goes on the head and the smooth side goes on the header flange.

HA! I guess it does matter. well ****. it doesnt leak, ive had em on there for a year or so.
