Been helping my son on the project 67 Notchback he bought. The rear u-joints were missing the inner clips on the u-joint caps that keeps the drive shaft centered in the rear end yoke (and keeps the caps from flying off).

I wonder how long that would have held up when he started driving it?

It pays to check everything when putting something together!

Oh, what's a couple dents in the floor board from the driveshaft smashing it on every rotation. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been there.

Run a car with slicks,and house brand unknown u joint's. The new rear u joint,goes ka-boom. Luckily I had the foresight ,to install a drive shaft loop. Never again.
