Which is the better pinion seal, leather or rubber? Don't want to go the cheap route and have to replace this again. Is there any difference at all, are there any tricks to make sure that it doesn't leak? Let me know which you like better and why, thanks!!

I prefer the rubber but eather will work, the rubber will have less drag too. (not that that matters to much).

^^^^X2 on the rubber.

2 tricks I do to avoid leaks is use a little shellac type sealer on the OD of the seal when I install it and use a little RTV on the yoke splines so oil doesn't seep out through the splines. It's rare to see but can happen.
