Pitman arm and Flaming River steering box question...

This is my 1970 Plymouth Duster project.
I installed the QA1 front suspension system, K-frame, upper and lower control arms, strut rods, and all associated QA1 hardware.
The tie rod ends, ball joints, idler and pitman arms are all MOOG for this year car.
Flaming River steering box P/N FR1540

As you can see in the attached photos, the pitman arm does not go on the gear box shaft very far, and the drag link is not level... it is higher on the steering box side.
I contacted Flaming River, and they said it should fit the same as the factory box, no special pitman arm required.

Am I missing something? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
