Pizza night again...

....nothing like a home made pizza cooked on the Big Green Egg. We are in the learning process still, tried something new...to date this is the best yet...

looks good ! How's the bottom of the crust, is it crispy.

It was indeed. Bit of a learning curve. Turned the plate setter so that it was legs down this time. Used some spacers between the plate setter and pizza stone. Egg was at 650*. After about 5 minutes pulled the screen out from under the pizza. Previous attempts were in the Egg for 18 minutes or so. This one was under 10.
Wife has enough dough to make another one. Making pulled pork today...leftovers pulled pork may be going onto a pizza tomorrow

Our Pizza night is Friday. Have done pizza every way you can think of. lol Big green egg, wood burning oven, charcoal fired, even a gas grill.

The best results were the BGE, and the wood burning oven.
