I'm doing a 74 Duster project with my son.
The car is a factory 318/904 care with AC

The car was missing heat ac controls but the heater/AC box was intact.

The dash assembly is out of the car.

All components are out of the car and the AC coil and heater coil have been pressure tested are in nice shape.

I just painted the engine compartment (excuse the aluminum foil in the pic) and I want to get ready to put the heat/AC boxes back in.

Question is what should I do to them as far as rebuilding goes and where can I get the parts?

And not to stray off this specified forum, but where should I get new wiper seals?

Wiper seals from Schumacher industries. Not sure about the heat and ac piece. My cars are absolute hot rods....heat and ac....that is what windows are for! Lol

I can deal with no A/C, but a heater is mandatory.
 
Sounds like you have done the most important thing, IMO.
Just be sure that heater core (coil) is in good shape, like you say,
Pressure test with low pressure? What? About 20 PSI at the most?
They are a PITA to change once in the car.
Don't forget to turn the regulator down like I did one time.
If there's any doubt a new one really isn't much at an autoparts store.
But the last two I've bought I had to work on a little bit.
Quality isn't too good sometimes and the lines are a little "off" for the firewall hole.
You will need heat to be comfortable sometime but AC is optional.
As far at the controls for the car, good luck.
I don't know of anyone that reproduces that stuff.
Parts cars or one here would be my best guess.
