Plymouth Duster/Dodge Demon spare tire carriage bolt length

Can someone measure for me please. I purchased one and it looks mighty short to rise through the spare tire up to the cardboard.

My car is not with me and trying to figure out back up plan.

Now this Valiant doesn't have any cardboard in it so that might make a difference.

And here you can see it's about 5 3/8-5 1/5" long. Sorry for the rusty tape, it's a junk one I found in the shop.

the hole that the upright post goes into the center of the big hole in the wheel this will give you a little more length in the mounting bolt. it should also have a black washer over the center hole in the wheel. (scampman)

Where did you find that mint (new?) metal piece that holds the spare tire bolt and the gas tank straps on the bottom side??

As far as I can tell, my board was never supposed to have a hole/nut (75 Duster). Someone had put a small hole in it and pulled it down with a nut - distorting and cracking it.. I got the shorter bolt and will make a new board that just lays in the rim.
