What is used to secure the front Chrome trim to the roll up quarter glass?

There's a big pot metal piece attached to the bottom of the glass. That stainless edge piece is riveted to the pot metal.

And inside that stainless trim is a glazing strip. It's a rubbery tar like material I got from local glass shop.

Thanks. It's the vertical chrome piece on the front edge of the rear roll up window. There is nothing to attach it other than it's pushed on with some type of bond to hold it to the glass (1970) so I'm guessing the glazing strip is what I need.

Yes I just found one that was very snug and wrapped the edge of glass. Then used dead blow plastic hammer and tapped it on gradually and evenly. Then I used razor blade to cut the glazing even with the trim
