rack and pinion in my barracuda

OK, this is what he told me. The LCR is made of 1 1/4 tubing with a soild piece of steel turned down that inserts almost to the bend of the LCR, that supports the spindle. This is about the middle point of the gusset for the a-arm and way past the shock mount. He said he could put anouther gusset above the bend in the LCR, but he dosn't think it needs it. In all the cars he has built these type of front ends for, only one has ever broke a LCR. That one was wrecked and went end over end. Also it's LCR was built the same way just using 1" tubing not 1 1/4", and the LCR was not the cause of the crash.
