Re/ Restoration

Well i got the rest of my parts yesterday so i have been hard at it last night and tonight with the water and fuel hook ups. Hood Adj. To clear the pass. side carb. Also got the gage changes done ( forgot a pic will get tomorrow) tore my foot up 3 days ago and x- ray this AM shows a fracture:banghead: so thats why im sweeting doing the "light" work :rambo: oh well back to work on monday somehow.:-({|=

OK working lots of Hrs. now so working on the Dart is getting harder but have made some progress....:sleepy5: oh and does enyone no where i can get a stock water neck in stead on the chrome unit?

you could always sand blast the chrome off and paint it, it would look better than a crappy cast one....especially with that STR-12 sitting up there. Very nice

I'm still hopeing some one has a NOS stock neck i can get, i've had no luck with the seal on the crome ones as well!! Maybe i'll post an add in the parts wanted:glasses7:
 
Well the gages are up and running water, trans temp and oil psi. They have been in the car fo 8 years so its about time i got em hooked up:cheers:. rear diff is oiled up. Seam sealed the welds on sub frame and painted. Plug wires, spark plugs, fuel lines and wireing done... oh and i fired it up tonight HOLLY CRAP!!! its lowder than the 6 pack and the ignition upgrades WOW!! cant wait to get her out see how bad the lack of traction is:burnout: Kaslo and Creston car shows comeing up next weekend so hope i can get it ready.

I still need the kick down cable,spring return bracket , and the whole car detailed before saturday in my spare time.:rambo: time is more than ticking its kicking my ***!!:thumleft:
 
wow your car is great man and i gotta say your the man I dont thing I could roll a pink car.
Its my wifes :glasses7: and she put in as many hours on the org. restoration as i did. I just wrench on it and take it out for the odd test and tune:thumleft: you know just to make sure evey thing is working :lol:.
 
Ok thats it for this year:coffee2: Got it running not to bad and wife can drive it to the kaslo show tomorrow. Will continue to tune on it in my spare time this summer and then back at the updates this winter. Looking forward to a mini tub or maybe a back half project ? not sure yet. Will get some pics of the mopars @ the show:glasses7: Cheers. Rob

Just in time for our Nelson Road Kings car Show The Dixco is restored and working! Should be fun. We are expecting 500 + cars this year.
