rebuilding a 7.25

Probably won't be for a while yet, but I am thinking of getting my 7.25 rebuilt, in my 67 Dart, 273 2 barrel, automatic, I would just soon stick to original as its lasted 45 years so far. Are parts available, I also have an 8.25 out of a Volare, would this rear end fit, and could I have it drilled for the small bolt pattern? Where 8 1/4 available in a bodies with small bolt pattern.

Check with the rear end suppliers/builders.... Randy's, Moser, Strange, Dr. Diff, etc. for replacement parts. The Volare rear is a bit wider than your Dart unit. No small bolt pattern 8 1/4's that I'm aware of but a redrill should be easy on one. The center register would have to be cut down for stock wheels.
