Been looking for so e replacement mirrors wanting a pair as with taking the car back to NZ we drive on the other side of the road so a passengers mirror will be vital.
Anyway come across lots of remote mirrors and wondering will the glass stay in place when were you set it if the cables are removed as I do t have a remote set up and don't want to go cutting door panels etc to fit. Seam the only sport mirrors I find are cable remote.

There are sport mirrors without the cable, I have a set. Even if you had the remote mirror you could just zip tie the cable inside of the door rather than trash an expensive set of mirrors.

In need a replacement mirror for one of mine.

you would have to keep the cables attached. To tie them inside the door as suggested will work.
