Remote mirror ??

Putting my 72 Demon 340 back together after paint. When I went to install the Driver side remote mirror I noticed the new mirror did not come with the piece that backs the nut up. What I mean is the controller that comes through the door, when you try to tighten the nut to hold it to the door you can just pull it through the door. I'm assuming there is suppose to have a nut or something on the inside of the door to sandwich with the outer nut. Does anyone know where I can get this piece??

Its just a thin piece of tempered steel. Same piece can be found in a lot of places. Behind a plastic bezel in the dash of a 87 Gran Fury for example ( right mirror controller ). I don't have a spare though. Hope this helps
