I know you are only suppose to have a thread per vehicle so I will only start with pictures leading up to the Duster. I am new to restorations but I have lots of time. I get inpatient quick so hopefully I can take my time and do it right. Started off with a new house we bought last year and I needed a barn. 30x40 and now it needs to be bigger, lol.

Bought this cheap to start my project. Banged out the front end damage and re aligned the hood. Cleaned out the car. It has lots of rust as I notice more and more. Got a used grill and headlight bevels and just placed them there to see it.

Started the trunk lid bodywork but I am new to this. Using the old 360 magnum block out of my Dakota for a new 408 stroker build. Found a 727 local.

Removed the dash and windshield. Cracked the windshield and bent the trim. I need to take my time. I even bought the correct tools to remove both but it wasn't working for me.

NICE SHOP!

oh and project

You need to sit down and make your self a plan. It seems to me you have too many things going on at the same time. Pick one thing and stay with that until it is done or work on that and if you get stuck or tired of that pick something else to work on in the mean time. It has always worked for me to do that, that way you are always moving forward and you won't get tired of being stuck on just one thing. It has worked for me so I thought I would pass it along to you.

I am bouncing all over the place. I wasn't sure where to begin. I did some more work today to see what all I will need. Hopefully I can make a good plan.

Get yourself a big whiteboard. Divide it an make a "to do" list,
A parts list and a wish list.
Being eraseable its easy to add/delete items.then can prioritize stuff.

Heading out for parts, take a picture of whiteboard before you go. Good place for a tool/shop supply list.

I found it very useful, now i also use a spiral binder and roughly track my time, and list all the parts and suppliers

A brilliant idea Tooljunkie, never would have thought of that. holic_77 I hope you do well with your project and keep us posted on your progress with photos.

I have done a few projects, never for myself. But had to organize stuff so things didnt get fogotten.
Used a large piece of white paper stapled to plywood. Made me look what i knew what i was doing....
