Road trip! Los Angeles to Wi.

Me & a pal are going to try to drive from LA to Neenah,Wi in a '67 Coronet sedan early next month.We are taking the Amtrack train out there from Milwaukee.We will probably take US hyw 60 most of the way back.Are there any members along this route just encase we would need a a hand? I am sending out a tool box & a bunch of spare parts so hopefully we'll be okay but you never know! Also any suggestions on things to check out along the way, good junkyards,taverns,food,etc? Thanks! Can't help you with anything but that sounds like a blast.I know you will have lots of fun and laughs. I did 60 with the wife in a 67 dart,nice route to take.
