Road Trip..Vegas to Ohio.

-
On our way back...Springfield, Missouri.....

boy...my truck is eating the gas.....

Yup. A trip like you are making is when a diesel will shine. My excursion can go almost 1000 miles before I need to fill up. Towing anything it don't matter.

Be safe out there. I was in Ohio earlier this week and there were Tornado warnings regularly.

Fought a cross wind most of the day on I-40 thru oklahoma and texas....finally became a tail wind...what a difference...

In Santa Rosa, New Mexico tonight...tomorrow night...Las Vegas...

and may all the wind at your tail be your own.........

3975 miles later...and a **** load of gas burned....Home at last...

I am surprised my poor old 99 dodge 1500 with 318 and 110k miles......made it home with everything in tow...figured i would burn up the trans....dam..some of those grades on I-40 in New Mexico and Arizona are killers...

Arizona..needs to blow up their freeway and start over...what a rough highway....

Ha... you must never drive the 15 into California! What a POS when you leave NV...

Good to read you made it safe.

Wish I had seen this earlier, coulda' bought ya a drink, at least. I live in Miamisburg, Ohio and grew up in Springboro. Several friends live in Waynesville and I go there fairly regularly.
Glad you made it OK.
